VI how to ?

sorry about this but i just have no idea how to edit a file and save it in vi . . . can some one help me with this ?

also is there any other editor ??

There are lots of vi tutorials out there. The main trick is usung your square key on the hardware as Esc. They really should have put an Esc on the simulated keyboard.

Leafpad and Nano are available instead of vi.

Do you mean the "Back" key (on N800)? That's the one with the arrow curling backwards.
