cant find applications

Hi,

Apologies if this has been covered previously.

I have installed programs on my N800 for example wireless tools, sobexsrv but after i install them, i cannot find them to use them.

I have restarted the N800 to see if they pop up but nothing.

Can anyone help me please

Most likely, these apps are only available via xTerm (i.e., they don't have a Hildonized GUI)... If you have xTerm installed and are familiar with command line navigation, you should be able to find and launch the apps.

If you click SOFTWARE at the top of this page you will see xterm listed in the system area, or you can find it by searching for xterm in the Fetch applications box.
