I don't know even if it's possible, but in any case I really would like some themes created as much as possible with the aid of 3d computer graphics.

Obvious resource hog, but good luck with that.
Can you give an example of what you mean? Do you mean a 3D user interface or a theme that has a 3D look to it?

I don't mean anything extraterrestrial. Something done with Blender or similar programs instead of 2d graphics. As to wallpapers is easy, but I would like to see also icons, keys of the keyboard and all the rest of the theme with a 3d looking: I mean with depht, light, shadows.

So all you want is a theme with less flat graphics...?

Isn't it just a matter of creating a load of icons but with a 3d look? Bascially replace every graphic with a 3d looking version?
maybe...
please ... i want to make the n900 3D-Ready.
so i can connect a 3D-glasses on the tv-out port to see the homescreens in 3D...
is clear ... or not ? :D

It's perfectly clear, but if you are looking for the 3D look it really only comes to life when looking at a moving image. The capabilities of an N900 are not going to be able to push out moving 3D images, especially on the desktop, across 4 desktops, whilst sliding between them.
Perfectly clear, what you want, but it will only be on static images.

how about a static theme with just blue and red channels separated? so that when a person is wearing 3d glasses, the theme looks like its popping out the phone? that's funky.

like compiz?
it would be dope when switching desktops it would do the cube effect. or switching desktops up and down like in a 2x2 square grid.
the n900 multitasking window reminds me of compiz!

u can sorta make the screen look like the cinema screen when u look at it without the 3D glasses

The problem is that you need to render an image for the left eye and one for the right, then apply a polarization filter and blend them together to actually achieve the 3D effect.

I don't no why phone manufacturer do not use some kind of mini prism for each pixel in the screen(every 2-nd pixel seeing only with right eyes). The soft is simple.
The resolution would be half in 3D mode.
