N800 + bose QC3 - weird hiss....

has any one notice a weird hiss when using the Bose Qc3 ? tried with normal cans and sound is fine, but when using the qc3, i cant even listen to music on it ? is this endemic to the N800 or is it mine ?

There was another thread about this earlier in the year. The hiss occurs with the Bose QC3 and N800 combination. The QC3 comes with a small airline adapter - plug that into the N800 (one of the pins folds out of the way), and then plug the headphones into the adapter, and all will be well. (At least it works for me.) One of these days I will send a note to Bose to get their comments.
