Shadow at LCD screen

I got my N800 yesterday, and I noticed a slight shadow on the right side of the LCD screen. It is not very disturbing, but noticable, esp when the bright boot screen comes up.

Now I wonder I should return the device, or just leave it so.

Do others have the same issue, or is it just me?

Same here, it's just uneven lighting.

Try a search for "Shadow" - it's been discussed before, and is a common "feature" on most devices.

Some users notice it more than others, it may be more noticeable on some devices than others, but it seems to be a part of the design (due to the nature of the LCD backlight perhaps) and is not a flaw in your particular device.

It's a feature, not a bug. ;)

Seriously, all N800s have it. I used to be annoyed by it (being a heavy ebook-reader), but I got used to it.
