Can you guys try these PSP (mp4) video for me? Also a orb question..

Hi guys, I am interested in getting a N800. Unfortunately its very hard for me to get to the Nokia store in manhattan. I hate taking the subway.

I need to know if the n800 play the PSP mp4 video files. I have tons (and I mean tons) video already encoded in 268X208 512kbs or 356kps format. I want to know if it plays smoothly, and 2)If you can exlarge the 16X9 video in the n800 so you don't see any black bar (in other words, cropping the left and right sides).

Can you tell me if the n800 can display the traditional chinese video name properly. This is very important. No being able to show Chinese was one of the reason I gave up using orb on my 700p. Thanks.

Just tried the 1st sample downloaded to the Nokia N800 prior to attempting playback. The built in Media player states mp4 format is not supported.

Using latest version of Mplayer, it tries to play video, shows one still frame of video (Full screen, No Borders) and plays the audio but gives impression is constantly buffering the audio.

Why can't these people agree on the same portable format. So I take it the n800 can't play video podcast either?

It depends. If it's H.264 I've found that it won't play. If it's just MPEG-4 that's been specially formatted for smartphones/portable devices then it plays.
The smartphones show plays for example.
