But, anyway, can you make these theme without the logos? Or redo this "aero" theme with the default icons?
I don't hate Micro$oft but I think it should be better fit to the N900...

I found a lot of bugs in this theme...

like the buttons in the WEB...
and also at the right of the menu button, you can see some "changing color" line....

Hope those will get fixed. :)

Also, the volume button that is in the dropdown menu is orange at, can that be changed into blue too? everything in this theme is blue, then suddenly orange volume.... that... looks weird :p

You're using the windows logo which IMO is not legal. While IANAL, I believe that your software should be removed from the repositories since it uses an established trademark/logo and I guess that you don't have the right to do so.

I suggest you remove any occurrence of the windows logo and also ensure that you're allowed to use and redistribute the windows' background. Both are protected by copyright and you can't use them unless you're explicitly allowed by a license.

EDIT: The above also apply to any "borrowed" graphics you've included like the icons. Sorry to bring bad news but that's the law.

Well, it is. You cannot use or redistribute other's people work unless you are explicitely allowed to. This includes code, images, sounds and everything else that was created by someone else.

I don't know how serious Ubuntu is with this but I'm confident that it will never reach Debian's repositories. See for example this (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=266480) and especially message #59 which is the answer from debian-legal.

Tried to uninstall it already?
If uninstaller won't work, you can revert to default theme by typing this into terminal (rootsh must be installed):
sudo gainroot
/usr/bin/personalisation /usr/share/themes/alpha

Then reboot and you can start figuring out how to fix it :)

That's normal. Now reboot and delete the Windows 7 theme's directory from /usr/share/themes/ and you should be able to choose themes again.

As a workaround changed the theme and it changed the icons and not the background. After that I simply restarted and then chose to change background separately....

Tell me what folders you have listed when you run this:
ls -l /usr/share/themes/

And as a bonus question; do you have widgets gallery or Meego theme installed? They are known to cause theme changing not working.

I downloaded the Windows7 theme and selected this and used it for about a week, the other day I checked what was new and noticed the meego theme so I downloaded it and installed it (through app manager)

After that I went to change the Windows 7 theme and noticed that I couldnt change it, I assumed it was that as someone else had the same problem since installing the Windows 7 theme

I dont have widgets gallery installed

Uninstall it and you also need to remove it's directory manually afterwards. I can help you to point out which folder to delete if you give me a list of folders I requested in my previous post :)

Note : Please read the thread to prevent some risk to install this theme. I never used the integral theme on my phone personnally, I just use the icon set sometime with Theme Customizer.
