How do I include custom battery icons when I build my theme?

Can anyone explain this please, I've searched and can't find anything actually explaining how to do it.

I have my theme built and deployed, it is now in extras-testing. How do I go about including some custom battery icons in the theme?

I'm using MADDE along with the template Stskeeps refers to in the theme wiki but there's no battery icons anywhere in the template.
