It seems that, as of yesterday afternoon, I can no longer download maps from google using maemo-mapper. I get "Error in download. Check internet connection and/or Map Repository URL Format." Downloading from VE has no such problem.
The google URL format is http://mt.google.com/mt?n=404&v=w2.999&x=%d&y=%d&zoom=%d, the same as always.
Is anyone else having this problem, or am I having a PEBCAK moment?

That URL format seems to work. Try this link (from your Nokia device, to be sure):
http://mt.google.com/mt?n=404&v=w2.999&x=10&y=10&zoom=12
Is anyone else having trouble downloading maps with Maemo Mapper? Maybe Google has found a way to block Maemo Mapper requests...

I've had this error when I was downloading to a small card, and it filled up.

HMPH!... Well, now it seems to work just fine this afternoon. Beats me what the problem was. Nevertheless, gsagers, thanks for the tip about card space -- I'm about 75% full at the moment!
