When I try to insall the GPE Calendar I get an error message stating that I am missing files to complete the install. I have successfully installed GPE Contacts but I can't get the calendar to install. Are there some basic GPE environment files that I need to get this install to work? Any ideas?

Thanks for the info! I installed the GPErepo and the calendar installed with no problem. Thank you so much! You have no idea how long I have been trying to get that program on my N800.

no problem.... glad it worked out.
You can also install this applet after installing gpe calendar and todos.

At the download page, click on the latest version file that ends with .deb . You can open it when prompted...once installed, go to your home page, go to the Menu, select the Gpe Summary Applet and it will show an applet on your home page with a summary of the day's tasks and todos....that sort of stuff. You can further configure the applet via the Menu and Applet Settings.

So my N800 finally crashed (kept restarting, getting to the main home screen and then would restart after a minute) so I just reformatted it. I used to have GPE summary as a home applet but now when I download it and select it to show up nothing happens. I go to the select applets and do that thing but nothing happens. I've deleted it and reinstalled and still have no luck. Any ideas of how to fix this?

If you look at the page it tells you that you need the version from the cobb repository for it to work with the latest version. Download the previous version and it should be okay.

Anyone know how to configure the app? I need to schedule things after 6pm. Thanks.

Just make a new event and select a time after 6PM. And the .60 version of summary will work with the new firmware.

Thanks for the help. Is there a config, though ? (and is anyone else getting a thin line on a grey background while replying here? I've got a new 770 and opera. I'm typing blind...)
