Nethack on N800

Hi. I loaded Nethack on my n800, created a couple characters, then exited. Now when I load the game it asks for the character name to play with, then after that it exits out to the desktop. Tried uninstalling then installing but to no avail. Since ive only played it a couple of times till error, I wish i could play more!

Any Suggesstions?

Yep, I got the same issue already. This happens some times when you quit the game not gracefully (no details their, I'm not the developper).
However, I've found how to solve the issue.
You will need osso-xterm.
- launch XTerminal
- go to nethack directory (cd .nethackdir/)
- remove temporary files (rm *lock.*)
You're good to go again.

I just tried this on N900 and well, being complete newbie with linux, didn't get it to work. I guess I got it installed somehow and game started and prompted for a name. But it crashed after accepting the name...

Could be some configuration issue, installation issue....or probably user issue :)

I'd love to get a working nethack on N900...something I'd consider a killer app.
