So, I was pondering media streamers for the house then remembered I still had an old n770 kicking around.

Any suggestions on the best firmware to plonk on it and any apps for
media usage?

I was wondering the same thing. I'd say 2007HE. 2008He is too slow and I've never actually used 2006 ;)

When I get spare time I'm going to write a server in perl for it. Should be soon!
