so i got the WSOD on my 770 that i just got yesterday, and i tried reflashing the software to fix it, of course to no avail. however, since i have never flashed the 770 while the screen worked, it occured to me that there might be something on the 770 that i am supposed to do after it is done flashing, but i would not have noticed since i cant see anything on my screen. can someone just tell me if there is something you are supposed to do on the 770 after your computer says it finished flashing the software?

Nope. Unplug, that's it.
Try yanking the battery and restarting: failing that, disable the watchdog, reflash again, and see what happens.

how do you disable the watchdog? for that matter, what is the watchdog?

I have the same question. My new 770 is also WSOD, if there is anything else I can do to try and fix it before attempting to send it back to Nokia please let us know!!
thanks
