vnc - make enter stop sending nkpEnt?

I've been playing with the VNC client on my 770 to connect to my Windows box. But there's a problem: 'enter' on the keyboard sends not an ordinary enter, but a numeric keypad enter (nkpEnt). And the session of TinyFugue I'm running doesn't like nkpEnt, it wants ordinary "enter".

How do I change what VNC sends?
