[Information] Maenotify Bug

Hi,

Im new to this community. I read an article about meanotify which displays sms/missed call details which is very useful, but i read about a bug also which a user complaints that it uses high system(CPU) resources. Is that ture? Is there any other application which works without any issues?

Hi Sam,
first of all welcome to the community! ;)
I'm the developer of maenotify (there is an 'official' thread (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=52688&highlight=maenotify), try to use the search function :) ), and I must admit that at the moment this bug persist. The app itself works as expect but, as you mentioned and as other users reported (https://garage.maemo.org/tracker/?group_id=1444), it uses too much resources.
I'm currently working on a complete rewrite of the app, maybe I'll release something new in the next few weeks.
