I've been having weird problem with conversations
Sometimes when i send a text msg to a number, the name turns blank like this :
http://i957.photobucket.com/albums/ae55/deny_winarto/sms.png
And when i open it i got this
http://i957.photobucket.com/albums/ae55/deny_winarto/Screenshot-20110419-174548.png
Usually i solve this by sending text to that number again..
But it's getting annoying if there's a new number and i haven't saved it, because i can't send a text to solve it
Any workaround for this issue?
EMMC reflash doesn't help, but it's probably because the backup is already corrupted?

Yea, i think this should be a bug.. unless there's some way to fix it..
It's becoming a serious problem for me sometimes..
Because if there's an important message from a new number,
and i replied it without saving the number to contacts (because for my job it's important to reply fast),
If the bug occurs, the message is gone :(

i have the same problem and usually find that deleting 2 or 3 sms before the moment it messed up usually solves the problem, however this isn't ideal always. seems like a very common problem recently

Hey, the only solution so far is to rebuild the database.
Look here: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=930364&postcount=11
This might solve your problem, and it might not.. Or even it might work temporary..
(For me I have to keep on doing it from time to time in order to get conversations back to normal).
And if anyone of you know how to create a script that does that automatically please help me out here:

EDIT: You might have to type cd /home/user/.rtcom-eventlogger
EDIT2: And yes this is an extremely annoying problem!!! :(

Thanks for the help,
Unfortunately none of those solutions work for me, i've tried them all :(

And restoring the backup doesn't help either...
Still have 2 corrupted text now..

Well, the only working solution for me, like i mentioned before,
is sending a text to that number again.. this always fixes it for me...
Unfortunately this could be a problem if you don't remember the number :(

Well, the only thing I can think of now is to try to reflash your device and see if that works.. :S
