[Annnounce] Sociality | Facebook client in Qt

Well recently i logged out of sociality but when i logged back there was this error and sociality wont work. Perhaps theres someone that can help.

Since CSSU Qt update Facebook seems to recognize n900 as iphone or ipad (seriously) and sends invalid response on login request. MohammadAG promised to contact facebook support team with the problem when he has time. If facebook team rejects to include Qt 4.7.4 user agent then a fix will be included in next the CSSU update. Sorry for the inconvenience, but this is out of the CSSU team control.

@all - do not logout from socilality and kasvopus until the problem is solved

guys i updated my phone to the latest CSSU then i cant log in to facebook using sociality, it keeps get me to log in page after i close the app, and when i logged in i cant acces facebook, when i tap an sociality icon, there is loading spin indicator, but it takes forever, and nothing.. :( how???

No, the authentication is done by obtaining an access token from Facebook. There is no way to obtain this token without the application communicating with the Facebook API.

I made some huge progress on it yesterday, just need to finish commenting.

The reason it's not coming quickly is that I'm using MTF rather than QML, this means the app generally starts faster and has lower memory usage, the downside is there's no designer so I have to write the UI manually.

Nice work man, I've installed last version yesterday and many features works fine. I've encountered just one problem, i was trying to comment a post on my timeline, but when i press the button to send the comment it said "failed to post comment!" and nothing more.

Am I the only one with this problem?

just installed now sociality, but i encountered an issue: in the settings i activate "running in background" option, click save but nothing happen, and when i go again in the settings is disabled. the same if i put the number of minutes for the refresh. any suggestions? also i cannot see the movies i posted in my profile, the player start but is stuck on black screen without playing.

Currently experiencing the same issues after a reflash. Any changes made in settings are not being saved. Also being asked to log in every time I shut the app down and restart it. Any thought? Issues with Qt perhaps?

when i tap on news feed icon, xterminal say:
Error: 299

Was having the same issues, error on log-in and no content being displayed in any of the screens.
Just uninstalled it and saved memory in the end.

What exactly is the problem you are having ?

News feed dont load, are you getting login error, groups dont load, the video player just buffers etc etc.?

Many of the problem can be solved just getting your permision back again.:p

I have a small problem everytime I go to Newsfeed i see all the new posts with a Like by me; In fact they says (Unlike1) like I already clicked Like in this posts.

but this is just in the app not a real like in facebook because when i loing in i see this same posts normal without the like.


Another thing when i clicked the "unlike" option i goes to "like" in sociality....
