I installed the mapper and tried with my i-blue receiver, which worked very well. But I cannot get the voice guide for direction.
I tried to install the flite from the link in the original post, seems the link is dead.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure which link is dead, but if the .install file doesn't work, you can download the file directly:

http://repository.maemo.org/extras/pool/gregale/free/f/flite/flite_1.3_armel.deb

(it's the same deb for both the 770 and N800.)

Cool, after Flite installed, voice finally came out.
But the voice sounds a little bit weired.
Any beautiful voice I can apply to this baby?
Thanks

I am surprised that meamo mapper supports audio!! Any way can you tell me how much it cost you to set up the entire blue tooth gps along with meamo mapper to make it work? I mean if it falls in my budget i want to add gps to my n800. ANd what are the biggest drawbacks in comparision with a full blown gps unit??

I am new to this Nokia 770. What I have tried from yesterday is to install Meamo Mapper(do not forget to install Flite to get audio guidance), which is free and buy a i-blue gps receiver, which cost around 60$ (which is the only cost). That's all for a nice GPS setup.
I have not fully test it since I am at work today, so I cannot give you the comparition with a full blown gps sets.
