Just got a 770 [Archive] - maemo.org

Hey guys I just got a 770 and I am new to the site as well. Can someone tell me if you can get AIM it? Also, do youtube (or ne videos) videos work on this thing. It said to d/l the flash player but it didnt work, i noticed that there were different formats of the flash as well. Any Info would be greatly appreciated

Yes, download and install Pidgin (http://pidgin.garage.maemo.org/) along with the AIM protocol.

YouTube needs a more recent version of Flash than is available for the 770. There's little chance of Youtube working in future on the 770, mainly due to licencing issues between Adobe and Nokia but also due to the more limited CPU in the 770. You might want to give UKTube (http://maemo.org/news/planet-maemo/view/b3f2f6a7615188d07553db63324ea1c3.html) a try instead for viewing YouTube vids.
