Having trouble downloading pidgen and maemo gaim

I am trying to install the instant messaging program and am having trouble. I followed all of the instructions from http://pidgin.garage.maemo.org/ and it says its unable to install the programs i want which is aim. Can anyone help me?

Did you also install pidgin-protocol-aim-icq?

yea, i got gaim to work tho, it says that it didnt install when it actually did, the pidgin said the same thing but didnt install. so idk whats wrong.
