nokia 770 pairing problem with Treo 700p

Anyone have any tips on getting my 700p going on the 770. I have installed the tethered hack and was using "usbmodem" software to connect to the internet via my laptop. I have always used the usb cord though. I have never tried the bluetooth option. It doesn't seem to work at all with the treo. I had read that pdanet works on WM5 devices. Maybe I should try that?

I believe I did the tethered hack, but let me try it again. I remember not being too sure if I installed it or not?

I tried and tried, but still cant get it to dial the phone. The tablet finds my phone ok, but all I see is a little computer icon where the bluetooth icon is on my phone.

That is exactly what you should see. Your phone thinks it is paired and connected. Have you opened your browser on your 770 and tried entering a website? Or do you still see a flashing phone on top of the world icon? If the phone is there and not flashing then you are connected and ready.

I believe I did everything correctly with the tethered hack. I just copied the prc file to the RAM directory. I was thinking I would need to run it, but it never shows up on the phone menu.

I was saying earlier that the little computer icon comes up on the phone, but it only flashes briefly and then goes away. It never connects to the tablet fully. Not sure what to do next. I'm willing to hard reset or whatever it takes to get this to work.

I had a similar problem on my first attempt. I used Filez to copy on my first attempt. I then downloaded Resco Explorer and recopied the .prc and it worked like a charm.
