No sound for ringtones in settings

Anyone seeing this issue. I go into settings to set a ringtone and can't hear any sound for any of the ringtones on the phone. Volume is up and all and the ringtones are not custom. Restarting the phone also doesn't solve this...

did you check your speaker?? i meant have tried to mp3 from media player if it works? if your speaker is okay ( i hope they will be) try to choose some other ringtones (i mean not inbult ringtone i.e nokia tone etc.)or create some new profile using profilex(install it now) and change from there ( it is visible in settings after installing it) hope this helps.
