For those Sierra games (Space Quest 5, Kings Quest 4+ that run on the SCI, there is a program called FreeSCI that seems to run them well.

From a system with debian sources, just type

apt-get source freesci

dpkg-buildpackage complained, so i tried a configure and make, with this error
source='console.c' object='console.o' libtool=no \
depfile='.deps/console.Po' tmpdepfile='.deps/console.TPo' \
depmode=none /bin/sh ../../depcomp \
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -I../../src/include -I/usr/include/freetype2 -mcpu=arm926ej-s -fomit-frame-pointer -c console.c
../../depcomp: ../../depcomp: No such file or directory

I haven't looked into this much, but copying a depcomp into ../../ didn't solve it.

At least no-one with scratchbox need ever be bored. Wonder lurker developer... ACTIVATE

Ok munchytrons. Just played some Space Quest 3 on freesci.

you can get testing releases here

Built in gregale/it2006 - seems to run in 2007 but first reports indicate no sound.
