REQ: Weather Widget

I noticed that Collin Mulliner created a 'widget' for the home page of the 770 called IPHome which shows your assigned IP and RX/TX information: http://www.mulliner.org/blog/blosxom.cgi/n770/iphome01.html

Following Collin's example, I would like to request a weather widget that would will show the current weather for a particular City/State/Country. Clicking on the widget, if connected, will fetch the current weather data.

I noticed that If you select a city on the following page, the resulting page can be parsed to get the weather information:
http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/NY_cc_us.html

Any developer willing to create this widget?

There's already a preliminary (but working) port of gweather (http://maemo.org/maemowiki/ApplicationCatalogWip#head-635378cbdced4572226ebdc6ad927cfa6010f12c). It's not perfect (in particular the interface could use a rework), but I use it daily.
