I know, I know, I am being greedy. But PR1.1 has MADE me greedy, it its so delicious. Anyone have an indication of when PR1.2 is likely to be out?

I've heard things from my source and all I can tell you is that it won't be this year.
If it's anything like N900, I expect it to be before May next year. (around 6 months after release)

Why does people today are so hyped up with version numbers? When PR1.0 is released they would be asking for PR1.1 and when it's released goes asking for PR1.2 then PR1.3 and so on?

PR 1.2 will be soon, if this baby is a bestseller, and buy the shortages, I think it will do well and likely receive appropriate support

yeh, hopefully then nokia fu.ks off WP7
Why does people today are so hyped up with version numbers?
Because people are waiting for some improvements like adding folders or camera improvements (badly needed!), which honestly should be there out of the box.

I'm tempted to just flash it, but I keep telling myself it *must* be tomorrow. Swiss 16Gb variant here.

Yes, it was for the improvements, as I said in my first post, not version number which I don't give a hoot about - mostly folders on the app menu is what is still painful about using this phone. Appreciating a lot about the new features in PR1.2, which is why I want still more! I wonder if there will be any major update beyond PR1.2?

Yes, there is going to be PR1.3. No talks of PR1.4 yet though I believe.
Konttori said in his blog:
2. There will be PR1.2 and after that comes PR1.3. Updates will continue even after that, I just don't know what they are called.

So I flashed it. NSU said there was a new version, so I let it upgrade ot. Everything seemed ok, but tried to reboot earlier and now I just get 'xsession/dbus: too many reboots'.
I think I'll wait for the SSU next time!

Because Nokia for some reason doesn't release quick updates/patches for features or bugs like Apple and Google. Instead they decide to make us wait and bundle it all in one package which is terrible because then when new bugs show up from that new bundled update we have to wait again!

To me, navifirm is publicly accessible enough and we all know that it's 100% official.
