I'm working extensively with MS Outook (Calendar, Contacts, Tasks) and sysnc them through gSyncit v3 with Googlemail to have this stuff available from everywhere.

Syncing Calendar and Contacts with my N9 (through "mail for exchange") is also easy and comfortable.

BUT: how to get the tasks synced betwenn the N9 and Googlemail. In my opinion one big advantage of this ugly Android is the easy connection to Gmail and it would be a simple to manage task for Nokia to make it also so easy and to eliminate this drawback.

Is there a solution for the task sync out there a havn't found?

kind regards
RockOn

you should look into yahoo calendar, it supports tasks
i know gmail is better in general along with the other google services but this is one thing less to worry about because with YC it works right away no special things needed

edit: and of course if you ever signed up for Ovi back then, you can just use that since ovi mail/calendar/etc is now also part of yahoo

I do not have a solution. I use syncevolution and funambol to sync contacts and calendar. Funambol can sync contacts, calendar, tasks and notes. It works perfect on my Nokia E6 with symbian, has a sync tool for outlook, but there is no funambol tool for my N9. That's why I use syncevolution, but as far as I know there are some problems to sync tasks and notes. We should ask Patrick Ohly, the developer of syncevolution. Try syncevolution.org for more information.
