Maemo Mapper Question

I have Maemo Mapper installed. I have downloaded map data from Google Maps.

When I zoom in or out using the + or - keys on the top of the 770, it only zooms in or out by 4 levels. So, if it is at 8, it will zoom in to 4 and then 0 or out to 12. Even if I download the content for level 2, it will not zoom to that level.

Am I missing something?

Check: Maps -> Manage Repositories -> View Zoom steps

Setting it to the lowest setting will allow you to zoom one step at a time. The next will allow you to zoom two steps per key press. And so on and so forth......
