Ubuntu mobile edition was the next major topic of discussion. Shuttleworth wants to bring Ubuntu to a "new kind of device that effectively allows you to access internet services—sort of the online experience—anywhere, anytime." He sees Nokia's N800 web tablet as the defining device in that category, but he sees a lot of innovation and technical progress on the horizon. I hope not just Intel, but the whole GMAE consortium (http://www.gnome.org/mobile/). I got to try Intel's platform and it is still quite in early stage...

Yes, it's good he's aware of the N800 (after all, Hildon's been spun up and is part of UME)... however, Ubuntu aren't changing tack: they're still not going to produce an ARM build, and the N800 is not one of the targetted devices:
