Hi all!
In the Navigation, Status Bar section of the Control Panel i can decide which items i want in the Status Bar.
Why can't i remove Presence, Battery and Connection? I want to remove Presence because i'm not using it.

My presence disappeared in the new upgrade... maybe because I didn;t install gamil notifier? I do not really know but it is not there and i am not complaining.

Don't know about the new upgrade behaviour, but as far as I remember, it does not appear until you configure your account, so if you just installed the upgrade without restoring any previous backup, it maybe that it isn't appearing. Its space is empty, tough, so that you do not spare any slot (or am I wrong on this?)

How did you delete the account? I looked at it when I first got my N800 but now don't use that so I'd like to get rid of it.

Go to ...
Tools->Control panel
Under 'Personalization' click 'Navigation'
You can select what you want displayed on the status bar here.
I dont see anything under Personalize other than Theme selection.
Is this a 800 only Feature?
I'd love to do something better with the space used by light and sound settings.

"Presence" is there, but it's checked and greyed-out so can NOT be unchecked and removed from the status bar!:mad:

Presence is checked and greyed out if you have an account configured in Control Panel, Connectivity, Accounts.
As soon as you delete the account, the presence icon in the status bar disappears. I learned that through this thread. ;)

When I uncheck some items(display, sound, etc,.) and hit save, it simply would not save. When I open up the "Navigation" again, those items are still checked there.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
