I have some music videos in my N9 that I'm unable to play on the PR1.2 version upgrade. Are there any other people here having or had this problem?

When I attempt to play the videos, they start out as usual, audio is good but no videos. When playing the videos, the display looks like a TV without any signal....not the snowy white display but lines across the screen. It similar to when a TV channel is out of tune.

I tried going to the video settings but nothing there I saw that might fix the problem. Any ideas?

More info welcome, e.g. what type of files.

Type of files (codec, bitrate) would be good to know.
Actually my music videos do play, but video playback is not smooth (looks like frames are skipped). Audio is playing fine.

I'm using h.264 500kbit and aac 128kbit (400x240, m4v container).

I was able to mess up the DSP in some way (fun stuff in dmesg) and no video whatsoever worked. Reboot helped.

They are Windows Media Audio/Video files

Try Open Video Player. It may solve your problem.

EXACTLY. I made a thread about this in this forum, as well as in the Nokia forums. At least I am sure that I'm not the only one with the problem.

@lifeintheblitz: can you post the links of your threads? It seems I'm too stupid to find them.

DOH. It seems like there was another database corruption again, and the thread that I started disappeared. :/
