Dual boot Maemo

Hi
Is it possible to have 2+ Maemo Fremantle systems on dual boot? Not Nitdroid, not MeeGo, just Fremantle 2 times.
(e.g. 1) CSSU Testing + KP 50 and 2) PR1.3.1 + stock kernel)
I wanna test some packages I built sometimes and I don't wanna risk bricking my N900 as it's my main phone.
If I had one system for testing and one for usage, I could test the packages on-device and then reflash only the testing system. (restore from backup)

if the image could be mounted on /and like nitdroid or could be booted form mmc then maybe it is possible, i hope , great idea :)

I don't know if that is possible, but you certainly can use backupmenu have two backups and switch between them

I've not tried it with the N900, but it should be possible (I've done something like this with the N800).

Search for "boot from SD card" for the second installation.
You'll likely need U-Boot to be able to switch between the kernels.

Yes, it is possible. I have 2 maemo systems. One on eMMC and one on nand/rootfs + eMMC. See this thread: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=59374
