try flashing with linux or another usb port/cable/machine or redownload the bin. just use search as this has been answered many times before.
If anything else fails then nokia care for warranty replacement.

flashing fails quite often in windows, if your failing also in linux/ubuntu then your flash memory might be broken and you need warranty replacement.
the error message suggests windows usb transfer sync errors or broken flash memory.

Hi, i have the same problem.

[/CODE]
that looks like corrupted flash image, so you can try redownloading.
Ofcourse you can be unlucky and have faulty flash memory, and in that case just go to nokia care for replacement.
Hellano
07-17-2012, 11:35 AM
Yep...
I redownloaded 2 times, same error..
And my net speed isn't too low. Firmware download at ~350KBps..
Not tried a firmware of another country.
Should I try a new one?
So, how this happened:
I did nothing and it came up. About two days the battery discharged. When I put the charger, the mobile continuously restarted on nokia logo. I tried flasher once, and came up the warranty warning screen, with a triangle . Tried again, no success. My phone hasn't inception. Just OEM.
http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/2922/capturadetela20120717s1.png
So, I think I may have problems contacting nokia care, won't I?

Maybe you should paste md5sum of the 001 bin image in here, so we can check if its corrupted or not.

what do you mean by it? If you got the warranty screen without ever using the flasher command, then its most likely hw failure and you should take the device to nokia care. But if you got the error by trying to flash something, then.... :-/

When the device is on low battery rebootloop, one of the worst things that you can do is to reflash it, (you should just switched the charging mode on so it wouldnt reboot, and wait overnight for it to charge fully).

Ok, sorry my english, and if I wasn't clear.
What happened:
1. The device discharged.
2. I connected to charger. It started a "rebootloop". I didn't even know what it was. Unplugged.
3. Tried to charge via usb computer. Same rebootloop. So, I let it overnight, and did not charged.
4. So, what did I? flasher -f -F DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3_PR_LEGACY_001-OEM1-958_ARM.bin
5. Flasher said "low battery, 0%. Waiting to be 11%."
6. Got rootfs error, and once I rebooted, warranty screen.
md5sum:
Mac: Hellano$ md5 DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3_PR_LEGACY_001-OEM1-958_ARM.bin
MD5 (DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3_PR_LEGACY_001-OEM1-958_ARM.bin) = 53fcefc0033875661c19160e16999b3e
Mac: Hellano$ md5 DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.13-7.LTA_EMMC_LTA.bin MD5 (DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.13-7.LTA_EMMC_LTA.bin) = dcca5322f1888b9436f22fe8f94238bc
By the way.. How to check if this md5 is ok?
Thanks the help.
rainisto
07-17-2012, 06:13 PM
Thanks the help.
md5sum of 001 seems to be ok. What happens if you do following command (everything in one line):
sudo flasher -f -F DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3_PR_LEGACY_001-OEM1-958_ARM.bin -F DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.13-7.LTA_EMMC_LTA.bin -R -Owait-charging
(that should 1st charge the device and then flash it, so running the command can take some time, hour or so)

If I patch an open-kernel (link), (http://maemo.cloud-7.de/HARM/N9/1.3/openmode-kernel/zImage-2.6.32.54-dfl61-20121301) should be easier to reinstall original firmware later? Or I would be waste of time?

The flasher automatically charges the phone and them flashes it

Oh sorry, I didn't remember that public flasher doesn't have that option. So you should try flash without that option :)
