My 770 seem to have a glitch when I plugging in headphones, left side do not function properly. When I fiddle with the plug I can here the left side coming on, but a soon as I leave the plug I can only here the right side.
Any one else who have had this problem?
I have tried a number of different headphones.

This could be a hardware defect with your device. My suggestion would be to update your device to the latest firmware to verify it's not some software glitch. Then if you still have the issue, contact customer support.

Tanks Gultig for your suggestion.
I have made one software update, and are now running on:
Version: 2.2005.45-7
Unfortunately Nokias web page for The Internet Tablets software say:
Latest version: 2.2005.45 (November 24, 2005)
Where are the –7 as shown in may 770?
Still no change.
No, I think is a Hardware fault.

Let us know how it goes. It would be comforting to see Nokia's concept of customer service in action.
I still have a bad taste in my mouth from dealing with Palm's customer disservice.

Well I just don’t want to be without my 770, so I will leave it for a while.

Live via free 770 --
Do it ASAP. If it's a short, it could affect the rest of the 770.
I sometimes get a bad static pluging in or twisting the jack. I hate earphone jacks. Always trouble.
