I recently updated my n800 to the latest version of OS2007
and i have MANY problems since then.

1) I can't install .deb files
I get the message "Unable to install.Installation file corrupted"
2) Many times the application manager crashes


I regret the time i run the update.

If anyone can help me i would appreciate it.

Reflash your firmware and try skipping the restore.

Yes. Go through all the steps to update the firmware again only this time do NOT restore anything from a backup.

Also, what are the programs you're trying to reinstall?
The new firmware's app manager is kinda broken now and some packages have to be reinstalled "by hand" at the command line via dpkg -i filename.deb.

i try to install some themes vista.deb, black.deb but with no luck.
i will reflash the firmware.

i there a way to downgrade ???

Just download the older firmware version and install it using the Windows Update wizard (tell it where on your PC to find the firmware you have downloaded).

You forgot to mention that with the latest firmware the themes are not working. That's why he is having problems...
