See? It doesn't have to fit in your pocket to be able to kill the N800.
anything that weighs less than two pounds and has a touch screen is technically a UMPC... makes chipchick look smart by comparison... lol
If the screen is 7 inches, how big is that thing??

Look at the window decoration on the screen: it looks like Windows XP default theme but they claim it is running Linux. Couldn't this simply be a fake?

Linux can fake Windows. Faking the BSOD is a real b*tch though...

Looking at the name, I wonder how long it'll take for Apple's gaggle of lawyers to descend upon them?

And another thing, the description says: "As far as software goes it has a web browser, word processor, spread sheet software, contact list, a clock and calendar".
You know, all those hings the N800 DOESN'T have...
(Well... it does have a web browser, I grant you that. And if you forego the "must work" condition, the N800 also has a contact list and a clock)

It will probably be recalled just after it goes on sale in the US for having lead paint on the keyboard.

I think there should be a contest for whoever has the best follow-up post to the Toys r Us comment.

Where's the button that makes it sound like a rocket ship?
Could this be the final final design for the OLPC?
Linux can fake Windows. Faking the BSOD is a real b*tch though...
that depends, there is that classical screensaver that emulates all kinds of BSOD's. problem is that it got the font wrong...
now, if you want it to show whenever the kernel goes panic, thats a different story...

They could just sell the keyboard harness with the opening for the screen and all. Then you stick an N800 inside. If the keyboard is BT - Instant StudentMate! Replace hildon with one of Penguinbait's creations and use a theme that matches.
