Yes, this was the theme that caused the yellow notes applet to disappear, along with the DCW, when I'd select the neon theme.
If you're unable to reproduce it, then it may be specific to my N900,...

What I do to get a gps lock is run ecoach first. After getting a sat lock I run ovi maps. On a cloudy day it takes me about 5 minutes to get a lock this way. This is using only the built in gps.

Ironically, I came across a thread some weeks ago with some N900 users complaining that they wanted the ringtone to play in the headset and the phone as well so they didn't have to wear the headset...

I heard this fixes the ringtone bug; the ringtone now plays on the phone when a headset (wired/bluetooth) is connected.
It also fixes the bluetooth reconnection bug; reconnects to a bluetooth...

I read about the gps searching for only a few minutes and then turning off. Here's what I do to get a satelite lock using only the internal gps;
-open ovi maps
-cancel select connection
-go back...
