Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

@Juhnu

Maybe it's a time-out issue. Vitaly told me to try the following at least for testing purposes.

If MfE account is not configured yet, when MfE wizard is started, somewhere between...

Re: Nokia's Explore and share technology

Hmm, I don't get the benefit of this "brand new" technology...
What can be done in the store that couldn't be done when (one time in the future) OVI Suite will recognize the N900 connected to my PC?

Re: SIO2 Interactive spamming votes to get his/her applications to Extras

Re: SIO2 Interactive spamming votes to get his/her applications to Extras

Hasn't the mentioned vetting process proven to be flawful to some extent?

By outcome I think there's not much difference in asking 10 random voters to vote for your repo-file (as suggested some...

Re: SIO2 Interactive spamming votes to get his/her applications to Extras

If you wanna continue discussing the Q&A process, feel free to open a new thread. But by all means close this thread as it still is a SIO2-bash-thread. From a more mature point of view I'd even...

Re: SIO2 Interactive spamming votes to get his/her applications to Extras

I didn't know there's so many halos around here.

Thank god, we're all so free from sin so we can cast stones. Let him pray a coupla Ave Maria and his confession's through.

Cut it or we'll most...

Re: SIO2 Interactive spamming votes to get his/her applications to Extras

This might well be true since there isn't any!

I didn't mean to offend anybody here on the forums, but even if Sio2 did break the rules there's always room to talk one-on-one rather than...

Re: SIO2 Interactive spamming votes to get his/her applications to Extras

Where exactly would you want them to appear? OVI store?

Hey, don't hang this issue higher than it is supposed to hang and please stop flaming wars before proven guilty. Even if Sio2 did forge the...

Re: Open Groupware Server syncing with the N900?

Did you try to set the EAS protocol on the N900 permanently to 2.5 as described in the MfE wiki (http://wiki.maemo.org/Mail_For_Exchange_%28MfE%29_Heartbeat_and_FAQ)?

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

I bet there are numerous services out there offering free SSL certificates.
I got mine from StartSSL (https://www.startssl.com/). Though it's only issued for 1 year it helped me to sort out my...

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

Sad to hear, but I guess we all do get your point (now?). You repeatedly slipped it into this thread just as the view counter seemed to be in a stalemate...

Anyways, I'm always up for reasonable...

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

I don't have a google account so this this is more of a shot in the dark...

Have you tried to set the EAS protocol permanent to version 2.5 (or maybe 12.0 or 12.1) as described in the...

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

Go check out mfefolders in extras-devel. That's exactly what you're looking for.

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

I'll look over the wiki tomorrow morning.

Don't let this thing give you too much of a headache. AS support on Scalix is very much at the beginning and AES 12.0/12.1 are not fully implemented. So...

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

Thanx to Vitaly & the dev team I now managed to sync my N900 with my Scalix Groupware Server via Active Sync like a charm.

The reason for not being able to sync is obviously a misbehaviour either...

Update after the update ;-)

I do run a Scalix Gropuware server, not a genuine Exchange server. My Nokia E71 MfE just works like a charm with it.

Not so the N900...
Ok here's my experiences after updating to PR1.1:

After...
