Actually there is no default location for dumps. I think /home/user/.evopediarc is only created when a dump is successfully added, so it could be normal that it is not there on your system. You...

The newly created dumps include formulas and the January 2010 dump does not. I will recreate a German dump and perhaps also make a new English dump as I think the quality of the dumps have improved...

Make sure evopedia is not running by first starting evopedia and then "clicking" on the exit button...

The package currently in extras-devel does not work with squashfs-dumps (they were used in version 0.2.x). Working dumps will be available at http://wiki.maemo.org/Evopedia. Please be patient! ;-)
