yeah it does.
Three major heat sources, charging, wifi and the cpu.
Add all three together and it does turn into a hand warmer.
Doesn't seem to cause any problems mind you.

I had similar problem, turned encrypton ssl etc off , saved it, turned it all back on again and it then worked - after 10 minutes.
since then it sends immediately.

reflash it using flasher.exe from your pc
when finished it'll be unlocked, you still won't know your unlock code but you'll care less

if you check the url thats being loaded, after you've swapped to a different page, you'll find page=xxx at the end of the url.
manually change it to whatever page you want and press return

until you become root, you could wildly delete almost any fiile you liked and the phone would still work, but root has permission to change essential parts of linux

I mean you'll have access to delete things that could stop the phone working until you performed a usb reflash of the device.
you're perfectly safe doing the uninstall.

if you've installed rootsh by now, in an xterm window type:
sudo gainroot
then you are logged in as root.... be careful, now you can break things

If you haven't reflashed your kernel then it won't do anything major, don't worry.
It can't overclock your phone on its own.
root is admin in windows, ie the user thats allowed to install...

If you losing your connection randomly, I experienced this too, I had to stop using wpa security on my homehub and drop back to using a 64 bit wep key. This stopped me randomly being left 'connected'...

Warranty definitely doesn't cover physical damage.
Sounds bad, how about buying another used one with other bits broken and combining them to get one that works?
