yeah. youre having the same problem as a few people. until you actually use the n900 to jailbreak the ps3, you get an error trying to disable it. if you want it off, you MUST do the jailbreak method...

flydeep: possibly, if you dont play anything online. not sure what the console stores while offline or where it stores it. your best bet is to wait a couple of weeks, til a bit more is known about...
