You could also install tracker-cfg and change the locations the tracker indexes. The stock media player only "sees" those locations tracked by the tracker.

You are confused and confusing him. Batterypatch is the one with a non KP version. Speedpatch has only one version, nothing to do with Kernel Power...

I'm kind of sleepy, but I think that the "cgroup" thing has something to do with speedpatch, not batterypatch. It is also on repositories. Check it out.

I also have noticed it. But I installed yesterday the patch again (after removing it) and I noticed after that. Maybe a feel it a bit better, or maybe it's my perception just wanting to believe that....
