shouldn't the modifications to be done to flash itself in order to change the version info?

so only way would be a dummy flash that introduces itself (and replaces) flash plugin and runs old flash...

As root you can do in X-Terminal:


echo 30 >/proc/sys/vm/swappiness


This will make the N900 write less to the swap partition (it will still swap out when needed though, so no worries),...

Yes, I have had the KBC-L2S for a couple of years now and it's a very capable device. Not cheap, but eneloop is known for quality.
