No changes to the UI =! no underlying changes to the core, I've noticed many fixes till now, one of which is pulseaudio not stuttering at all.

Ok uninstall both kernel and settings, then re-install the kernel, reboot and then install settings, reboot again and then try in terminal

install cpufrequi as it allows the user to easily move between cpu speeds, at the click of a button you can move from 600mhx up to 1ghz no code required.

I had same problem , had titan v37 and nitroid flying world / multiboot v2.5 , all worked fine until i upgraded to titan v40 , exactly same errors as kishan regardless of installing from xterm or...

Install kernel power.

You have to have kernel power and kernel power settings installed, 2 separate packages.
