It does not (yet) have A2DP support, which is the profile required for high quality stereo sound. What you are experiencing is the HSP profile, which is mono and for headsets (internet calls). ...

You should check with your provider, 400k is like 0.4MB which is quiet slow these days. this could be holding you back.
