Sygic Mobile Maps 10 is coming soon for maemo as a free upgrade for Sygic Mobile Maps 9 customers.
I'm testing it right now. It's very slick.

You can. I just checked and it works like a charm. Just like everything else that has been changed in this update.

It seems clear that there are some issues with OTA downloads etc and that not...

Right, eboard does work. I had a hard time logging on to fics till I made a user button for my user name and another for my password. Then I just typed examine + enter and I had a usable chessboard....

enables USB debugging in dmesg!

man-db up and running on Maemo 5

Compiled man-db for the N900, it works well but I need to change the path to the man package because debconf purges the man pages.

OK, some success (at least I think so).

I used a wall-powered hub with USB memory stick and external USB hard drive. I applied 3.5V from TWL4030 to VBUS and set Host mode of operations in ARM CPU...

Yep, I reflashed it several times.... You can manually extract flasher or install with ignoring Architecture.
