Besides that,...

Re: JollaMobile : Jolla continues Nokia's excellent work on #MeeGo based smartphones

Mer and Qt are open source project, so they are not shrouded in secrecy.
Jolla is a company. They are completely right not to disclose their hardware, their strategy, or any non-patentable,...

Re: JollaMobile : Jolla continues Nokia's excellent work on #MeeGo based smartphones

As others have said, I doubt it. That being said, Nokia was far from the only investor that was interested in MeeGo, and there are certainly many companies who don't necessarily want everything...

Re: JollaMobile : Jolla continues Nokia's excellent work on #MeeGo based smartphones

The original article strongly implies it but sadly, Bernd said on FB:
"We did _not_ get patents from Nokia. The article was, as Riitta Pessi correctly points out, mistranslated, and then spread...

Re: JollaMobile : Jolla continues Nokia's excellent work on #MeeGo based smartphones

Well, at least on the Core OS side of things with Jolla, given that it's merproject.org as core, I can promise that we're working very hard to make people feel welcome. That part is done with proper...

Re: JollaMobile : Jolla continues Nokia's excellent work on #MeeGo based smartphones
