The other processor is (probably) the modem which runs a signed firmware, handles voice call and networking and which we can't touch with a 10 feet pole.

I use OM Weather to display the 7 day weather forcast and I also use mgCal to display items from my google calendar. Someone else may have a good suggestion for a digital clock applet.
