I don't know what chipset is in the Fujitsu. I am a comm engineer (among other things) and the external antenna vs. internal antenna in a 5" device can indeed make that big of a difference.

Try pairing the HSP and doing sound through the headset. It is expected to fail, either on pairing or playback.

The world is larger than XOHM, Sprint, Clearwire, USA, or North America. There are tons of WiMAX networks out there, and they do not all compete with HS*PA(+) or LTE.
