Re: Tethering N9 to Nexus 7

I got this to work using PPP Widget. It requires a rooted nexus 7 and a usb otg cable. Unlike BlueVPN, it's not wireless, but it gives full internet access on the tablet and it does so at very good...

Re: Tethering N9 to Nexus 7

I just got tethering working using Bluetooth between the N9 and Nexus 7. I prefer Bluetooth tethering when I don't need a super-fast connection as it goes easier on the battery.

I installed an app...

Re: [WIP] CloudGPS 0.4.8 - smoothest maps for N900

Re: N9 dlna

By default the only videos you can share via DLNA are videos taken on the device. That's a restriction indirectly imposed by DLNA as we had to chose for a set of profiles we support. If you want to...

Set up mobile hotspot using your 3G connection as default and start the app.
Start ssh on n900 then connect pc to n900 wireless...

I stepped in the same problem, but got it repaired by installing the required hildon-initscripts version (as a downgrade).
Commands:

there however are utilities like: more, find, cat, vi, grep, etc.. so you can live with it. locate...
