I think the gradient is a bit too dark, possibly even a lot to dark. The border also looks a bit odd, its rare to find bordered icons these days :p

Thoughts on squircled icons? They look a bit iOS 7 ish, forged with nokia. Its a bit odd imho. They are low quality and look odd because of forum image compression :p
